Because we have more free time than even I expected (and because all my people are too jet-lagged to be exceptionally social) I will try for a while to have at least a short blog post every day. One day's post will include pictures and narrative, and the next day's will be a cool German word that I have recently learned as well as its definition and so forth. And so, today's word:
Lebensdurst: a noun meaning, literally, 'life's thirst' ('lebens' = 'life's' and 'durst' = 'thirst') or better in English, 'the thirst for life.'
I find the word to be an orienting point. It always makes me want to try a little bit harder. I hope it gives something to you, too.
